Welcome to St. Joseph’s Catholic Primary School
This half term, we are focusing in particular on the virtues of being
Curious and Active.
Please support your children as we help them to understand the beauty of these virtues.
Introduction
St Joseph’s is a one form Catholic primary school situated on Selly Oak Road, on the border between Kings Norton and Bournville. It is part of St Joseph’s and St Helen’s Parish within the archdiocese of Birmingham.
As a Catholic school, St Joseph’s aim is to create a religious and moral climate that will enable children to develop and mature, both emotionally and socially. We offer all our children, irrespective of ability, a broad and balanced curriculum. The school has a successful breakfast club and a wide variety of after school activities.
We are proud of the good teaching in the school and the high standards of attainment that our children achieve. The school has always been praised for the great behaviour of its pupils, has very supportive parents and good links with our parish. Our priest is part of our school community and regularly delivers Mass to all our pupils.
The school admits children from all faiths whose parents value our Christian ethos. Please see our Admissions Page for more details.
